A New Year/ A New Life

Odette and Tim welcomed their first born child into the world in Mid-November. Their life together began in England where Tim and Odette were married on a breezy day along the shores of the English Channel. Now living in India, the new family stopped by to capture the first memories of their new family. We created several images that will be framed and find their way across the ocean to remind them of family in Richmond, VA as well as England.
The images above were used as the front and back of their firstborn's birth announcement. The first image captures the wonderful design of a circle created by mom and dad as they cradle and admire the new life in their arms. Inside the card, information of their daughter's birth was imprinted for close family and friends. The second image used on the back of the birth announcement speaks of a wonderful expression that made us all laugh. We were all tempted as to what a caption of the image should read. I was happy with the idea of including this image as a parting shot to share with family and friends.
We all need a sense of humor; especially parents on their journey and privilege of raising a child.
