I often find the most compelling portraits capture a person in a genuine expression or gesture. In this portrait, our little subject was given her "comfort toy" at the end of the session. The moments that immediately followed truly captured her in a natural pose that Mom will love as a reminder as her daughter at 2 years old. It will be interesting to see what her blanket will look like in ten years. What ever it's condition, I'm sure it will be loved and never forgotten.
